Human Cloning

What happens when almost the entire lab goes away for 2 days, leaving a prank-oriented amateur photographer pretty much alone in the lab? Human cloning, of course!

The "what" is pretty obvious, so here some of the technical details. Taken with a Canon Rebel XT (made me miss my Pentax, especially since I was stuck with the Canon 18-55 kit lens) mounted on a Gorillapod attached to a computer monitor. I used the the self-timer (12 second delay), triggered by the cable release for maximum time to get into position, and took multiple exposures at f7.1, 1/40 sec at ISO 400. The final picture is a composite of 9 exposures blended using layer masks in Photoshop CS4. Of course, there were several more exposures taken that didn't make it into the final for various reasons. A little bit of correction to do something to combat that lens distortion, and voila! The final result is something I shall call "ManyMe."

Hope you enjoy it!
